The school's online platform is a computerized data processing tool that simplifies administrative procedures related to the education of students in the establishment. In this sense, we are required to collect certain information necessary for the enrollment of students, re-enrollment, delisting, invoicing and many other usual processes of schooling. The school, as well as the provider of the school platform,  are firmly committed to respecting a set of rules of good  conduct in order to ensure that the confidentiality of all data concerning you is respected.

  • Commitment to transparency: we detail throughout this document the way in which the data is obtained, stored and processed the various data concerning you.

  • Security commitment: technical and operational security measures that meet industry standards  are applied at all levels of information processing, whether it is collection, storage, or backups.

  • Non-disclosure commitment: no data  is not subject to automated distribution to service providers or third parties. Certain information may nevertheless - and this only after authorization from you - be transmitted.  to service providers on the occasion of events such as school trips (travel agency, canteen, bus ...) strictly within the limits of the needs of the event. 

  • Commitment to make available: from your portal, you have functionalities allowing access in consultation, rectification, deletion, and export of all your personal data. The contact details of the Data Protection Officer are detailed in this document.

  • Commitment to comply with legislation: our platform is in compliance with the legislation on data protection concerning you, in particular the General Data Protection Regulations coming into force as of May 25, 2018.

 

Collection of personal information

We collect the following information when registering students or updating information during the year:

  • Last name

  • First name

  • Address

  • Postal code

  • email address

  • Phone number

  • Education

  • Other information that can be personalized by the school

 

The personal information we collect is collected through forms and through the interactivity established between you and our web application. We also use, as indicated in the following section, cookies and / or logs to collect information about your use of the platform.

 

Forms  and interactivity

Your personal information is collected through a form, namely:

  • Application registration form

  • School enrollment, re-enrollment, deletion forms

  • Other custom forms

We use the information thus collected for the following purposes:

  • Management of student education

  • Contact with students and parents

  • Administrative processing (invoicing, collections, ...)

 

Log files and cookies

We collect certain information through log files and cookies. This mainly concerns the following information:

  • IP address at registration

  • Pages visited and requests

  • Time and day of connection

The use of such files allows us:

  • Improved service and a personalized welcome

  • To establish anonymous statistics

 

Right of opposition and withdrawal

We are committed to offering you the right to oppose and withdraw your personal information. The right of opposition is understood as the possibility offered to users to refuse that their personal information be used for certain purposes mentioned during collection. The right of withdrawal is understood as the possibility offered to users to request that their personal information no longer appear, for example, in a school mailing list. Security

The personal information we collect is kept in a secure environment. People working at the school, as well as the provider of the platform,  are required to respect the confidentiality of your information. To ensure the security of your personal information, we use the following technical measures:

  • Access to the platform by secure connection (HTTPS)

  • Access management: alone  the  staff  having obtained an authorization is able to consult the data

  • Network monitoring, intrusion detection, virus and Trojan horse defense software

  • Computer backups encrypted with a key only known to the platform provider and can only be restored on the original platform

  • Your connection to the platform is protected by a username / password combination, and can be reinforced  using a strong authentication method (e-mail or temporary code)

  • The server hosting the school platform is protected by a hardware firewall and a software firewall.

 

We are committed to maintaining a high degree of confidentiality by integrating the latest technological innovations to ensure the confidentiality of your transactions.
